Marignier en 1999, on sait que l\u2019image de <em>La table tervie<\/em> longtemps rest\u00e9e myst\u00e9rieuse quant \u00e0 l\u2019identit\u00e9 de son auteur, fut bien r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Nic\u00e9phore Ni\u00e9pce et que ce fut m\u00eame l\u2019une de ses derni\u00e8res \u0153uvres. Les t\u00e9moignages de l\u2019\u00e9poque retrouv\u00e9s par le chercheur montrent que cette image \u00e9tait un physautotype.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s cette identification, J.L. Marignier et M. Lourseau ont entrepris en 2004 de retrouver des objets similaires \u00e0 ceux de l\u2019image de Ni\u00e9pce et de reconstituer <em>La table servie<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/bicentennial-of-photography.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Table_servie_Niepce-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22489\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bicentennial-of-photography.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Table_servie_Niepce-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bicentennial-of-photography.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Table_servie_Niepce.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une fois num\u00e9ris\u00e9e l\u2019image de Nic\u00e9phore a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour d\u00e9terminer les dimensions des diff\u00e9rents objets ainsi que de la table elle-m\u00eame. Couteau, cuill\u00e8re, verre, bol, \u00e9cuelle, bouteille, vase, cafeti\u00e8re correspondants aux dimensions d\u00e9termin\u00e9es et dont la forme et la teinte se rapprochent de ceux de l\u2019image ont \u00e9t\u00e9 collect\u00e9s chez divers antiquaires et autres brocanteurs. Lorsque les objets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 dispos\u00e9s sur la table, l\u2019image est apparue en trois dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fort de leur ma\u00eetrise du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 du physautotype qu\u2019ils ont red\u00e9couvert en 1992 et qu\u2019ils sont les premiers \u00e0 avoir reconstitu\u00e9, J.L. Marignier et M. Lourseau ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de photographier cette table par ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 invent\u00e9 par Ni\u00e9pce et Daguerre, dans la Maison du Gras, pendant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 1832.<br>Fin Ao\u00fbt 2004, la table reconstitu\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9e dans le jardin de Ni\u00e9pce devant une chambre obscure au fond de laquelle \u00e9tait plac\u00e9e une plaque d\u2019argent recouverte de la couche blanche de r\u00e9sidu de distillation de l\u2019essence de lavande.
