Le 12 f\u00e9vrier 2021 marque les 100 ans de la naissance de la photographe Janine Ni\u00e9pce, n\u00e9e le 12 f\u00e9vrier 1921 \u00e0 Meudon. Lointaine parente de l\u2019inventeur de la photographie, Nic\u00e9phore Ni\u00e9pce, elle est l\u2019une des premi\u00e8res femmes reporter-photographes fran\u00e7aises.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janine Ni\u00e9pce na\u00eet dans une famille de vignerons bourguignons reconvertis dans la fabrication d\u2019avions, puis de d\u00e9cors de cin\u00e9ma. Elle entre dans la R\u00e9sistance avant de suivre des \u00e9tudes d\u2019art et d\u2019arch\u00e9ologie, puis de se passionner pour la photographie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une des premi\u00e8res femmes dans le monde de la photo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019ann\u00e9e 1946 marque son entr\u00e9e dans le monde de la photographie professionnelle. Influenc\u00e9e par Henri Cartier-Bresson<\/a>, qui lui donnera des conseils judicieux pour \u00eatre reporter, elle entre chez Rapho en 1955.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ses photos retracent, dans la deuxi\u00e8me moiti\u00e9 du XXe si\u00e8cle, cinquante ans d\u2019\u00e9volution de la condition f\u00e9minine, d\u2019une vie agricole en voie de disparition, de la p\u00e9riode insouciante des Trente glorieuses ou de Mai 1968.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00e9ministe, elle participa d\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es 1950 \u00e0 la fondation du Mouvement pour le planning familial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janine Ni\u00e9pce avait choisi de fixer en noir et blanc des gens ordinaires et leur vie quotidienne, un travail qui la rapprochait de Robert Doisneau<\/a> et de Willy Ronis<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Publications et honneurs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plusieurs livres attestent de son parcours :
\u2013 France<\/em>, avec des textes de Marguerite Duras (1992),
\u2013 Les ann\u00e9es femmes<\/em> (1993),
\u2013 Mes ann\u00e9es campagne<\/em> (1995),
\u2013 Les vendanges<\/em> (2000)
\u2013 Fran\u00e7aises, Fran\u00e7ais, le go\u00fbt de vivre<\/em>, avec l\u2019historien Jacques Marseille (2005).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite Chevali\u00e8re de l\u2019ordre des Arts et des Lettres en 1981, Chevali\u00e8re de la L\u00e9gion d\u2019honneur en 1985. Janine Ni\u00e9pce \u00e9tait \u00e9galement membre des Gens d\u2019image<\/a>, de l\u2019UPC<\/a> et de l\u2019ANJRPC depuis 40 ans. Elle est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e le 5 ao\u00fbt 2007 \u00e0 Paris \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 86 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janine Ni\u00e9pce, Sp\u00e9os et la Maison Ni\u00e9pce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e8s les d\u00e9buts de l\u2019intervention de Pierre-Yves Mah\u00e9 (fondateur de l\u2019\u00e9cole de photographie professionnelle Sp\u00e9os<\/a>) pour faire revivre la maison de la premi\u00e8re photo \u00e0 Saint-Loup-de-Varennes<\/a> et la faire conna\u00eetre au grand public, Janine Ni\u00e9pce s\u2019est montr\u00e9e enthousiaste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle assiste avec int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 l\u2019avanc\u00e9e des travaux de Manuel Bonnet, descendant direct de Nic\u00e9phore Ni\u00e9pce, et de Jean-Louis Marignier, chercheur au CNRS, qui aboutiront \u00e0 la publication de l\u2019ouvrage Ni\u00e9pce, Correspondance et Papiers<\/em>. Cet ouvrage rassemble toute la correspondance de Ni\u00e9pce dans un ouvrage de 1 600 pages. Il est \u00e9dit\u00e9 par les \u00c9ditions Maison Nic\u00e9phore Ni\u00e9pce. Il est aussi enti\u00e8rement disponible en ligne.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
